Carmel VAC and Carmel FD Refresh Their CPR Skills

Members of Carmel VAC and Carmel FD took time out last night to refresh on their CPR skills. CPR is a lifesaving skill used when someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Everyone can and should learn this easy and effective skill because the sooner CPR is started, the better chance the patient has to survive. A Beautiful Remembrance for a Beautiful Lady.
On Saturday, 4/23, friends and family of Domenica Lipton gathered together to remember and celebrate her life. Not only was she a past member of Carmel VAC, but her husband, Bob Lipton, is a past Captain and life member and their son Robert and Domenica's brother Brian are active members of the Corps. CVAC holds CPR Refresher Class for Kent and Carmel Fire Departments

On Sunday, February 27, 2022 Chief David Jacobsen and his wife, Cindy held a CPR refresher class for the members of Kent and Carmel Fire Departments. The class consists of classroom and hands on skills testing.
CPR is short for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. This is performed when someone stops breathing and doesn’t have a pulse (they are in Cardiac Arrest). Quick and efficient CPR can save a life!
